The twisted concept of modern optimism. The project describes visually a liberated attitude toward consumerism. The narrative of this series took place in a futuristic land where we all live with our waste. The series repeats the portrait of men who is expressing ‘fashion’ while he is surrounded by trash bags. As much as conceptional it sounds, the portraits are realistically drawn with a beauty of fashion within the wasteland. Could be an alert future and could be a nightmare we are trying to avoid, the story of these men should prevail audience upon preserving our green environment and put them into the optimistic mode. As a fashion brand that practices social enterprise, 8TOPIA send a grunge poetical campaign to young heart men who will not give up fashion or a future.
